Former 18th century shipowners’ house, the ENTRE HOTES guest house is located in the heart of the historic district, 5 minutes from the old port, shops, restaurants and La Concurrence beach. All the rooms are quiet, all facing a pretty English garden. The atmosphere is cocooning, and the decoration neat. The house has a private lift and all the bedrooms are air-conditioned.
L'ILE DE RÉ
The Ile de Ré bridge is only 10 minutes from our guest rooms (a connection is provided regularly by buses leaving from Place de Verdun, bus station).
Ile de Ré is a captivating place, full of charm, chic and authentic at the same time, one of the jewels of the Atlantic. For the moment of a day, you can criss-cross the secret alleys of Saint Martin or stroll by bike along the coast and the salt marshes.
L'ILE D'AIX & FORT BOYARD
You can access the Ile d'Aix only by boat passing in front of the imposing Fort Boyard (many departures from the old port of La Rochelle in high season). It is a charming little natural island, which does not know the crowds, a little corner of paradise, which can be visited on foot or by bike, a real moment of relaxation in Poitou-Charentes.
